| Sanabria a trovador (troubadour), master of singing in décima (a poem composed of 10 lines, each line having 8 syllables, in an accepted rhyme scheme), Latin Billboard award nominee, poet, and professor at the Recinto Universitario de Mayagüez teaching the Décima Puertoriqueña has agreed to perform at Borinquenfest 2008. |
| Texidor known as "El Negrito Del Sabor" debuted with Sonora Poncena in 1963 and also sang with the Puertorican All Stars and notably Bobby Valentin with whom he recorded Musical Seduction and La Gran Reunion. He fronts the Fania All Stars in 1980 for Naci Moreno. Luigi was asked about his gray hair to which Luigi responded, "I don't dye it because if I do the people will start confusing me with Ricky Martin" (Nestor Louis). |
